Book Covering &

Basic Repairs

Learn how to keep your books looking good for longer using a variety of covering materials. Using simple repair techniques, give old favourites a new lease on life, learn how to ‘tip-in’ missing pages, re-attach covers and repair tears using the correct materials.

This is a hands-on workshop using library-specific covering and mending materials.

Bring a paperback book, a hardback book and a book with a dust jacket to cover. Books for mending will be supplied. All materials supplied.

The School Library association of Victoria respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Victoria and pay respect to the ongoing living cultures of First Peoples.
