Creating Digital Pedagogy Toolkits
Why don’t more teachers take advantage of the digital resources and tools school libraries offer and recommend? What can be done about this? In this session, we answer these questions by looking at digital pedagogy and, specifically, how to create a “digital pedagogy toolkit” for teachers. A digital pedagogy toolkit is a highly practical way of (1) boosting teachers’ awareness, interest, and usage of digital tools and resources, and (2) assisting teachers to integrate digital tools and resources into the classroom in meaningful and effective ways.
